The story of a soldier saying goodbye to his family as he is shipped off to do his duty to his country; to fight a war that he doesn’t believe in. I just tried to put myself (and am trying to put you) in that soldier’s shoes. Inspired by both a story on NPR and the story of a friend of mine who was that soldier. Thankfully, he came home safely a couple of years ago.
